"P" is for Penguins
Penguins crack me up (make me laugh) in the way they look, the way they walk, their comedic actions like jumping into the freezing water one after the other, following each other blindly, as if they have been hypnotized to do so.
They seem to be putting on a show for us as they march across the ice like little soldiers wearing tuxedos, walking in unison (together), taking short steps, waddling with a clumsy (not smooth) swaying motion.
Indeed penguins are fascinating to watch and bring a smile to our faces, kids and adults alike.
Even when penguins are swimming underwater, they are very entertaining.
Next time you visit a zoo, you can watch them through the glass at the pool, as they speed through the ice-cold water at tremendous (very high) speeds, spinning, turning, executing (doing) seemingly impossibe aquatic manuevers.
Mostly, penguins hang out in colonies living in Antarctica. They are not afraid of humans since they have no predators there. (V.C)
