Different ways to say "Hello" in English  Part 1 (1)

The English-speaking world is gigantic.  If one counts native speakers and those who speak the language fluently, as well one would need to include the United State. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, much of sub-Saharan Africa, a good part of Western Europe and hundreds of millions of people in South Asia, among other smaller populations around the globe.
However, in my opinion, the two most important and influential English speaking populations on the rest of the world's English are the United Kingdom (and more specifically England ) and the United States.

What makes these two countries so unique when compared to the majority of nations in the world is that they are very diverse.
Both countries's populations have included waves of immigrants from all parts of the world.  These migrants, who brought the influence of their home countries' languages with them, have given the English language a good deal of slang and many different ways to say the same thing. (J.F)
