King Arthur (2)

They met and held feasts and discussions at the famous Round Table.
Therefore, they were known as the Knights of the Round Table.

The number of such knights is not clear; anywhere from 12 to over 100 are mentioned.

These knights went on adventurous journeys in which they fought against dragons, giants and evil knights.  In these quests, they always tried to exhibit chivalry, a code of honor.

The most famous knights were Sir Lancelot, Sir Galahad, Sir Tristram, and others.

Arthurs' Queen was the beautiful and gentle Guinevere, who in some tales fell in love with Lancelot, and ran away with him, a destructive act which contributed to the downfall of Camelot.                                   (G.K)
