Words of Love (2)            No.18

2013/02/03

The word "like" is often used for many of the same situations as "love", but it means a feeling that isn't  as strong: "I like ice cream.", "I like Joe very much." (not a romantic feeling)
When we do love someone, we often use special words as a nickname for that person.  You might have watched movies in which a character calls their boyfriend or girlfriend "baby", "sweetie", "honey", darling" or even "pumpkin", plus many others.  These are pet names. (no conection to animals)    (G.K)
