I'm from Melbourne in Australia, but I have lived in 5 countries around the world. In addition to English, I also speak some Japanese and Thai, and I have a Master's degree in Linguistics from ANU, where I wrote a thesis on second language acquisition and language teaching. I have four years experience teaching English one-to-one in Japan, and during this time I have taught over 10,000 lessons. I can teach English for a variety of purposes, from daily conversation to travel to academic purposes to business. I can explain both grammar and pronunciation. No matter if you're a beginner starting from scratch, or if you are already an advanced student, I can adapt to your level. During lessons I use my tablet PC to take notes, which I can subsequently use to generate customized review activities. I'm looking forward to seeing you in my lesson soon. |
| Business 経験 | I started tutoring shortly after starting university. At first I was teaching maths and science to high school students, but I also started teaching English to international students and people studying abroad. I have many years' experience teaching English in Japan, and also one year experience teaching English in Thailand. In addition to teaching English, I spent several years working as a web consultant. During my Master's degree, I worked part-time doing IT for a start-up construction company. |
