| 講師紹介 | こんにちは！フィリピン出身のモニカです。 子供の時から英語で人と話をすることが大好きでした。シャイで自分の殻に閉じこもっていてはもったいない！と思い、高校、大学そしてそのあとも、自分にとって居心地のよい場所にいけるよう努力してきました。 2012年に、日本に引っ越してきました！ みなさんの英語が上達し、より自信をもてるようお手伝いします。 Hello! My name is Monica, and my love for English and communication started when I was a child. Growing up shy, I realized that staying in my shell wouldn’t take me far, so I pushed myself to grow—through high school, university, and beyond—constantly stepping out of my comfort zone. In 2012, I made the life-changing decision to move to Japan, where I learned Japanese from zero, giving me deep respect for those mastering a second language, especially one as different as English. With 15 years of experience teaching English and communication skills, two years of formal Japanese study in Tokyo, and 12 years of living in Japan, I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand—and I’m here to help you improve, gain confidence, and enjoy using English to achieve your life goals! 趣味や興味：drinking (especially red wine), watching musicals and live shows, podcasts, watching/reading/listening to content related to personal development or personal growth 好きな言葉：“Honor the struggle.” – Brendon Burchard |
| Business 経験 | 大学卒業後は、英語を使用するラジオ局でディスクジョッキー兼ラジオアナウンサーとして勤務。 日本に来てからは、日本語学校で2年間日本語を学び、英会話学校で5年間勤務した後、東京の留学エージェンシーでさらに5年間働きました。英語講師としての経験は15年以上あります。 2024年にアメリカの会社でポッドキャストのホストとして働いた経験もあります。 2025年に、GaijinPotのYouTubeチャンネルのスピーカーとして活動を開始。 |
