Gerunds and Infinitives:
Use each set of words to write two sentences with the same meaning.
Drive without a license/illegal
Driving without a license is illegal.
It’s illegal to drive without a license.(不定詞toを使い一つの文としています)
①Talk during a movie/rude
→Talking during a movie is rude.
→It’s rude to talk during a movie.
②Speak English/fun

→It’s fun to speak English.
③Listen to music/relaxing

⑤Watch TV game shows/waste of time.

→It’s waste of time to watch TV game shows.
Infinitives with Too and Enough:不定詞+Too・enough
Rewrite each pair of sentences as one sentence. Use too or enough plus on infinitive.
I’m too tired. I can’t go out tonight.(私はとても疲れている。
→I’m too tired to go out tonight.(今夜出かけるには疲れすぎている)
①Nimisha is too short. She can’t reach the top shelf.

④Susan didn’t type fast enough. She didn’t get the job.
