Hi, イングリッシュビレッジ横浜校のAtsukoです。

今回は英語で横浜の紹介をしたいと思います。

Yokohama is one of the larger cities in Japan. （横浜は日本で大きな都市の一つです）

There are many train lines so it’s easy to get around. （電車の路線も沢山あるので、移動も楽です）

There are also so many department stores and shops near Yokohama station, so you can buy anything you need.

（駅の近くには沢山のデパートやお店があるので、必要なものは何でも買うことができます）

I recommend going to Minatomirai area. （私のお薦めはみなとみらいエリアです）

First of all, the scenery is amazing especially at night time. If you see the night view, you’re in a different world. The Ferris wheel, a symbol of Minatomirai is beautiful.

（景観がすばらしく、特に夜景は別世界にいるようです。みなとみらいの象徴でもある観覧車はとてもキレイです）

Second of all, a short walk from Minatomirai station brings you to Akarenga-soko, Yamashita park and China town.

（みなとみらい駅から少し歩くと、赤レンガ倉庫・山下公園・中華街にも行くことができます）

Akarenga-soko is an old warehouse that has been remodeled and now home to many shops and restaurants. Various events are held depending on the season. Hikawamaru is the most famous symbol in Yamashita park. You can tour the ship and have a meal.

Everybody knows about China town. You can eat delicious Chinese food. These days, it’s popular to eat while walking around. You can see many palm reading shops.

（赤レンガ倉庫は古い倉庫を改造して今は沢山のお店やレストランができています。季節によってはイベントも行われています。山下公園のシンボルといえば氷川丸です。船内を見学したり中で食事もできます。

中華街はもう皆さんご存知ですね。美味しい中華料理を食べることができます。最近は食べ歩きも有名です。沢山の手相占いのお店もあります）
